Wild Stallion Portrait
A portrait of a wild horse stallion. Love those eyes.
A couple of Grays
A couple of dappled wild horses in TRNP. They are part of "Teton's" band.
The cold, icy weather brought the "Ice Man" out. Actually it is a sculpture made out of plastic by the school children.
A green bee feeding on nectar in a prickly pear cactus blossom.
A wild horse mare is curious about something off to the side of her.
A hawk was sitting in a tree and allowed me to take a few images of him before he took off. As he took off I snapped this shot of him.
A Fleeting Glimpse
Drove out south of town and saw this Big Horn Ram. He was on the move and would stop to look around for a few seconds before moving on. I think he was trying to get back to his band.
Finding a Way Down
I watched this porcupine climb down out of the bushes. He was having trouble finding good footing on the smaller branches. It's amazing that the small twigs can hold the weight of the porcupine.
Young coyote in Winter
The coyote crossed the road in front of me and then sat down in the snow and watched me for a while. Love the expression on his face.
The three kings
Three bull elk high on a snowy butte. there were five bulls hanging out together. The other two were down in a draw resting.
